To launch the redesigned Golf GTI, we devised a pretty awesome promo: Buy a Golf GTI, get a GoPro. But before we gave away all those cameras, we strapped ’em all onto a single Golf GTI and gave it to global rallycross champion Tanner Foust. From the hundreds of hours of footage, we built an experience that let the viewer take control through YouTube annotations. And when the Golf GTI sold out entirely in the first two months… yeah, that was pretty awesome too.
